The FEM International Research School-Trentino, FIRS>T, of the Fondazione Edumund Mach in San Michele all’Adige (Italy) is offering up to 21 PhD fellowships in the fields of:

 

  • Environment
  • Agriculture
  • Food
  • Computational and Systems Biology

 

Well-motivated and highly-qualified students who have, or are expecting to obtain a Master or equivalent degree in a field relevant to the research undertaken within the FIRS>T Programme, are invited to submit their application on-line. Strong interest in the field and flexibility in the research project are also prerequisites for application.
Fellowships include a salary of 20.000 Euro per year (before taxes), which is provided for 3 years with the possibility to extend it for 1 more year. Other financial supports are granted for periods abroad, travelling, University fees and conference and courses attendance. Each project is developed as collaboration between the Fondazione Edmund Mach and a partner institution. The main location will be FEM and at least one year of the PhD fellowship will be spent at the partner institute.

 

The official working language is English.
